| The project features in Lingnan flavor of the Chinese restaurant. At the beginning of the project approach, the customer wants to use the Lingnan culture to interpret Oriental food. Through the previous research and deep understanding of Lingnan customs, we named it “Yan Shang lou”. “Yan” means feast. In ancient when there is a big occasion which is full of music and food we call it “Yan”.”Shang” means high. “Yan Shang Lou” conveys the high specifications of places, high-standard quality, highlighting the culture of Cantonese cuisine, its elegance and fineness. As the virtual design, we select the traditional Chinese red color and choose to write it by seal character which brings a sense of history. We use Chinese tone to convey the beautiful elegance of the Lingnan culture.
